Experienced Trader/Analysts Positions
Responsibilities and Accountabilities: (approx % of role)
- Analyze market conditions, social & economic Data and financial information. (85%)
- Evaluate financial risk, make decisions and prepare reports. (3%)
- Use computers to enter, access or retrieve data, use spreadsheet software. (1%)
- Review transactions to ensure accuracy of information and that trades conform to regulations of governing agencies. Inform and
advise management regarding fluctuations and irregularities. (3%)
- Maintain a thorough understanding of and be able to explain both equities and futures market terms and Aurapoint trading practices. (2%)
- Identify potential trading strategies and offer ideas to improve existing algorithms or create new ones. (3%)
- All other tasks as assigned (3%)
Required:
- College degree (business or math concentration)
- Strong analytical ability or technical concentration including analysis of intraday stock and market patterns
- Intelligence
- Ability to work well in team environment
- Creative thinking and ability to apply it to our operations
Preferred:
- Actuarial and/or risk analysis experience
- Series 7 and 63 licenses
- Proficiency with Excel
Software Developer Positions
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Enhancing and maintaining a multithreaded C++ application that writes data to a database.
- Maintain our Postgres database and replication software.
- Linux administration
Required:
- College degree
- 5+ years of programming experience with C/C++
Preferred:
- QT and/or cross platform development
- Windows, Linux development, Linux administration
- Multithreaded applications development
- PHP
- PostgreSQL or DB administration
- Experience with real-time systems
- Network/Socket development
